Sensor Errors & Other Issues

There are some other error messages and miscellaneous issues that can occasionally occur with Matterport cameras. It is best to contact us about these problems and provide details about the specific problem you’re having. We can diagnose most issues fairly quickly.

Some error messages are the result of a loose connection inside the camera after a hard fall. Disassembling the camera and carefully putting it back together, ensuring that all connections are secure, may resolve your problem.

There are some problems that we cannot repair and require being sent back to Matterport for repair. If the mainboard or the sensor array needs to be replaced, we cannot currently offer that service, but in those instances, we will coordinate with you and Matterport to have your camera shipped directly to them. If we cannot repair your camera, there is no charge to you.
